– Streamline your kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc. and keep only those you really use.
– Keep your countertops free. Stuff is a magnet for other stuff that always ends up as clutter. Store bulky appliances you hardly use inside the cabinets.
– Keep only items you used daily on your vanity top. Store the rest inside cabinets and drawers.
– Use pot holders for items that can be stored vertically such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, comb and hair brush, make-up brushes and mascara.
– Store the rest by category in baskets or on trays. It makes things look neat and it’s easier to clean your countertop space when you have to move only a few baskets and trays rather than individual bottles and containers.
– Declutter your living space by only keeping your favourite decorations and photographs. It’s impossible to appreciate them when there’re too many of them. Hang photographs on the wall instead of taking space on shelves and tables.
– Your closet should be made up of clothes that are in good condition, that fit you now, that you love and make you feel good. Donate the rest.
– Keep your desktop free from clutter – it should be a workspace rather than a storage space.
– Always file your documents, rather than pile them up.
