Feast of Fun
Add a playful touch to your family’s reunion dinner with this fruit yu sheng.
FRUIT YU SHENG
Ingredients
(serves four)
480g carrot, cut into thin strips
480g white radish, cut into thin strips
180g pomelo wedges
180g orange wedges
180g strawberry wedges
180g rose apple wedges
180g mango slices
Dressing
½ cup warm water
2 tbsp orange jam
1 tbsp plum sauce
1 tsp apple cider
Garnish
60g prawn crackers
60g cashew nuts
30g fish floss
30g fresh coriander leaves
10g toasted sesame seeds
Method
1. Combine the ingredients for the dressing and mix well.
2. Arrange the other ingredients on a big platter as shown. Top with garnish ingredients.
3. To serve, drizzle the dressing over the platter and toss with chopsticks.
