It's My Treat


Reward your kids with these chocolate eggs, which are perfect for Easter and beyond.

CHOCOLATE EGGS
(Makes six to eight eggs)

Ingredients
>12 eggs
>100g white chocolate
>100g dark chocolate
>1 tsp assorted food colouring
>1 bowl assorted candy decorations

Method
1. Using a small, sharp tool, cut a 1cm hole at the top of each egg. Drain the yolk and egg white. Wash and air-dry overnight.

2. Melt the white chocolate in a whisking bowl that is placed on top of a pot of boiling water. Add your preferred food colouring and mix well.

3. Carefully pour the chocolate into six eggshells until they are almost full. Leave them to cool until it is set.

4. Do the same for the other six eggshells with the dark chocolate.

5. Decorate the eggs with candy as shown.
