Thrill Of The Grill


The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So fire up the barbecue and surprise Daddy with this hearty Father’s Day dinner.

GARLIC LEMON PRAWNS

(serves two)

Ingredients
> 3 tiger prawns
> 3 satay sticks
> 4 cherry tomatoes, halved
> ½ green apple, cut into fine strips

Marinade
> 3 tbsp unsalted butter
> 1 lemon peel, finely chopped
> Juice from ½ lemon
> 2 tsp minced garlic
> 2 dashes Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
> Pinch of salt and pepper

Method
1. Preheat the barbecue grill to 185 deg C.
2. Clean and cut open the top of each prawn, and skewer with a satay stick.
3. Combine the ingredients for the marinade. Mix well and spread it over the prawns.
4. Grill for 3 minutes or until cooked. Serve with the cherry tomatoes and apple strips.
