Boost your energy


Do you find yourself falling asleep in the office toilet, nodding off (horrors!) in front of the boss and suddenly requiring afternoon naps? These are almost de rigueur for pregnant mothers, particularly in the first and last three months of their pregnancy. How tired one woman is compared to another depends on genetics, existing medical conditions, whether you exercise actively, how stressed you are at work and your mindset. Here we share eight tried-and-tested methods for boosting energy levels, from exercising and eating the right foods to popping supplements and taking time out to “nurture, nourish and replenish” yourself.
