    We watch and hear them on TV, but did you know this well-known children’s programme has its own preschool in Singapore – the Hi-5 House of Learning, which opened its doors in June 2016.

    Located in Hoe Chiang Road, it’s a convenient location for parents working in the CBD.

    Spanning 630 sq m, the campus can accommodate up to 107 students – which ensures that children can learn and develop in an adequate space. 

    The preschool has a gym which doubles as an obstacle course area where children can improve their coordination, and movement skills. 

    This also allows the little ones to use all of their senses to manage themselves in terms of physical strength, agility and fitness.

    Children learn through Hi-5 clips, songs, rhymes and stories, which are incorporated into the curriculum, and daily areas of learning also include creativity, mathematics and world knowledge. 

    The school offers programmes for children of different ages, ranging from 18 months to six years old. 

    Even though Kindergarten pupils do not bring homework home, they follow a a more structured programme which prepares them for local and international primary schools.

    Besides the regular classes from Monday to Thursday, kids can look forward to Hi-5 Friday – a day filled with special activities which are based on the topic of inquiry. 

    Pupils will also have the chance to get up close and personal with their favourite Hi-5 cast members when they visit the school once every six months to perform and interact with the little ones.

    The full-day programme for all levels starts from $1,200 per month, and the half-day programme starts from $1,050. Fees are before government subsidies and are inclusive of GST (for the first year only).
