    Themed “Good Ol’ Wonderland”, this edition of the community play day wants you to spend the Father’s Day weekend reliving the old days. For the first time ever, the quarterly community play day will be held over two days, featuring new activities like carnival games booths and the much anticipated glowing Zumba, where participants will get to be covered in neon paint as they exercise in dance with the fun music. There will also be returning attractions like the kampong games which will be a nostalgic sight for Mum and Dad.

    Parents can also spend some time teaching your little ones about the history of the grounds where the sports hub now sits with the heritage gallery and guided tours.

    Do come in attire suitable to be painted on for the glowing Zumba.

    When: June 17 – 18, 2017

    Help Professor Crackitt find his pet parrot, Wattnot, while fixing some of the experiments in his laboratory, all while navigating through Asia’s largest mirror maze – “Professor Crackitt’s Light Fantastic! – a Mirror Maze experience”. While making your way through, do also look out for the creepy-crawlies, secret rooms and find your way out of the multiple fake exit illusions. This huge mirror maze features more than 17 exciting experiments backed by the physics of light, colours and reflections, which are sure to spark your little one’s curiosity.

    While you’re there, also check out The Mind’s Eye, an exhibition where all is not as it seems. It has over 30 items which challenge the way you observe and make sense of the things around you, playing with perception vs. reality.

    Has your little one always loved the sea? Here’s his chance to get a peak into the life of a navy officer and discover his own future as one in the ‘Draw your Dream Navy Ship’ competition. In celebration of the Republic of Singapore Navy’s 50th Anniversary (RSN50), leave your mark on the RSN50 Doodle Wall as you colour in a part of the of the mural. The mural will be displayed at RSN50@Vivo at the end of the year.

    On weekends, the little ones can bring home their very own nautical souvenir from the rope-tying activities. Activities are recommended for families with children aged 12 and below.

There is no age limitation, but height and weight restriction applies for various attractions.
