    Fertility problems are more or less glossed over in the public eye, although so many people (both famous and not famous) deal with them throughout their lives.

    In a bid to have children, many women have opted to “rent a womb” and conceive a viable baby through surrogacy.

    While there are no explicit laws that prohibit surrogacy in Singapore, guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health state that clinics that provide fertility treatments are not allowed to carry out surrogacy arrangements.

    According to a post in her app, Kim Kardashian’s unnamed surrogate gave birth in January 2018. Based on reports, the surrogate gave birth to a baby girl weighing in at 3.17kg.
