How adorable are the bedding and teepee? They caught our eye the moment we entered our City Suite.
The sofa had been transformed into a cosy sleep area for the children, with a play tent pitched next to it.
That’s not all – my kids also discovered plush toys and a Trunki ride-on luggage filled with mini bathrobes, slippers, colouring pencils and activity books.
On the dining table, chocolates, gummy candies and a flask of warm milk awaited them. What a treat!
Now high on sugar, there was ample space in the room for our energetic kids scoot around on the Trunki.

We were here to experience the hotel’s Great Fun-mily Escapade package and we could see why it’s a hit among kids and parents.
No staycay is complete without family time at the pool deck. I love the large cabanas, day beds and sun loungers surrounding the two semi-circular swimming pools.
When I wasn’t in the water with my kids, I could lounge around and snap photos of them from a distance.
On weekends from noon to 6pm, young guests below 12 years old are invited to join a treasure hunt activity and redeem a special treat afterwards. To take part, approach the friendly staff at the Poolside Bar.
At the hotel’s lifestyle floor, where the gym and pools are also located, kids have plenty of space to run around.

They can also visit a herb garden, which has Italian basil, lemon balm, mint and rosemary.
These are common herbs that kids may find in their food, but it’s not often that they see them in the plant form. During your staycay, spend some time with your kids here.
At level 4, you’ll find Keyaki Garden Pavilion, a tranquil garden with a beautiful koi pond.
Take pictures against the traditional Japanese house with Shoji-inspired screens. For a moment, you and your kids will feel like you’ve been transported to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Round off your staycay experience with a decadent Sunday brunch buffet at its Edge restaurant.
From Italian to Indian and Chinese, there were so many live cooking stations and gourmet spreads on the table, we didn’t know where to start.
A roving balloonist entertained the kids and a band livened the atmosphere.
