Watch out, Hello Kitty! Here comes Pusheen, the chubby gray tabby cat (with a mouth) that has been stirring up a sensation on the Internet.
You’ll find Pusheen on a plethora of merchandise, clothing, collectibles… and now, its first-ever cafe in the world, right here at Singapore’s Kumoya cafe.
This time around, it has transformed into Pusheen paradise, albeit till mid-March. The decor has been specially designed by Pusheen founder Claire and her team of designers. If the kids have been good, take them to this pop-up cafe for a treat!
Here are some main courses and desserts you’ll find on the menu, curated by food artist Shirley Wong, better known as Little Miss Bento.
Pusheen Cat Nap Creamy Japanese Rice, $22.90
This is the purr-fect main course for kids, as the others on the menu are mildly spicy. No artificial colourings are used – only Japanese bamboo charcoal rice and beetroot cream sauce.
Pusheen Floating Fun Japanese Seafood Curry Rice, $23.90
If you love Japanese curry and seafood, be sure to order this. How cute are the paw-shaped cheese slices?
Pusheen-Loves-Pasta Truffle Aglio Olio, $19.90
We love the heady aroma of truffle oil in this pasta dish, which comes with mushroom, turkey bacon, fish-shaped carrots and fresh garden salad and is mildly spicy. Ask the staff to hold the chilli flakes if your kids want to have this. Vegetarian option is also available.
Pusheen Double Delight Fruitcake Burger, $17.90
The “burger” is actually a stack of cakes, while the “fries” are biscuits. It comes with 3D Pusheen macaron that’s too cute to eat.
Check out our video here for more yummy options at Pusheen X Kumoya cafe!
Outside the cafe, you can try your luck at catching these cute plushies.
But we think it’s easier to just buy the merchandise from the cafe.
Take your kids here for a fun family day out! Remember, it will only be around till mid-March 2019, so don’t wait too long.
