Where to go with the kids this weekend? Make it the new Pororo Park indoor playground at Marina Square.
Here’s what you should know, and can expect from the latest Korean wave to hit Singapore.
1. It’s the first Pororo Park in Southeast Asia.
And it’s No. 11 around the world. There are now seven in South Korea and three in China. The very first attraction to feature the popular animation characters opened in Seoul five years ago.
2. It’s not just for fans.
Don’t worry if you or the kids are not familiar with the cartoon series from South Korea. Pororo the Little Penguin and his animal friends have such infectious smiles, it’s easy for anyone to like them and feel at home here.

3. Kids aged one to nine years old will love it most.
After all, this wonderland is designed with them in mind. The experience starts off with a train ride into the snowy village of Porong Porong Forest and a dip in the Shark Ball Pool. Other highlights include the Pororo House – a replica of Pororo’s House in the cartoon – and Poby’s Jungle Gym playground.
4. Be sure to catch the live performances.
Ask the staff for the showtime at TongTong’s Little Theatre because you won’t want to miss the song-and-dance sessions. We’re told that additional shows will be scheduled on weekends. Psst… click the videos to watch what goes on behind the curtains.
