Changi Airport is the place to be this Christmas if your little one is fan of Frozen 2 the movie, which promises to be the biggest thing this season. Watch our video below and read our tips if you’re taking your kids to A Frozen Wonderland at Changi, which runs until Jan 5, 2020.

Dress the kids up in their Frozen 2 costumes and take an #ootd at the backdrops inspired by the movie, in front of the Departure Hall. It’s open from 10am to 10pm daily.
There’s also a light, sound and snow show daily at 7.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm and 9pm. Do note that while our video shows Elsa in the show, this was just for the launch on Nov 22. The daily show will feature life-sized statues of the characters instead.
However, you can still queue up for meet-and-greet sessions with Elsa, Anna and Olaf on Nov 29 to Dec 1 at the Departure Hall, at 11.30am, 2pm, 3.30pm, 5pm and 6.30pm. Come early and be prepared to wait.
There’s a Frozen merchandise store adjacent to the backdrops, where you can buy everything from towels to water bottles. Plus, spend at least $60 to redeem exclusive Frozen 2 premiums at pop-up stores in all four terminals and in Jewel Changi – they include plush toys and accessories like an EZ-link charm and travel bags.
Head to Check-in Row 11 for the Enchanted Forest experience, where kids complete activities in each of the four themed zones to redeem a prize. You’ll need to spend at least $50 in a single, same-day receipt to get a play pass for this.
If your kid loves Olaf, head here to take a selfie with the first Olaf installation in Singapore. It’s located at the Terminal 2 Departure Hall, near TP Tea and Llao Llao.
Jewel Changi Airport
Check out the 16-metre-tall Christmas tree at Jewel near the Terminal 1 entrance – it’s the airport’s tallest ever.
Spend $50 in a single, same-day receipt at Jewel or the airport to redeem two passes to enter the Shiseido Forest Valley from 5pm to 11.30pm for special activities (entry during the rest of the day is free).
We think it’s worth it because of the Jewel Christmas Spectacular show – the performers are engaging and your little ones may even be called up to dance with them! This 15-minute performance is at 8pm on weekdays and at 6pm and 8pm on weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays.
There’s a lot of snowfall here, but this can be irritating for those with sensitive noses, so bring a mask or get your kid to wear a cap.
The popular Canopy Walk also has a festive addition – a short snow walk (wear covered shoes) and a Snow Pavilion that’s great for photos.
Meet Santa at the Canopy Park’s Petal Garden on Dec 6 to 8, 13 to 15 and 20 to 25 at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm
Also on level 5 is the Festive Market, with over 10 stalls selling food, drinks and lifestyle products. Get your unicorn candy floss and festive Kit Kat flavours there.
At night, the HSBC Rain Vortex features a new Christmas light and sound show at 7.30pm, 9.30pm and 11.30pm.
