Last week, Young Parents launched its new video series on amazing HDB playground . We visited a fun ship-themed one in Sembawang.
Now in episode 2, we head over to Choa Chu Kang to Keat Hong Garden. In front of Blk 815C, you’ll find a cool military-themed playground.
There’s a white tank with a climbing net to explore, as well as “cannons” on a mini hill. Even the rubber mat flooring resembles camouflage colours.
Older kids can tackle the vertical play structure, which gives them the thrill of an obstacle course.
Watch the video below to see what you can do here. And while you’re in the area, make a trip to some of the kid-friendly farms nearby,
The play area’s theme harks back to the area’s history as the former Keat Hong army camp.
In fact, the Housing and Development Board has been building new generation playgrounds that reflect the unique heritage of some estates. That has made for some amazing play spaces, which we are highlighting in this series.
