According to an Apple Daily reader, the Chinese actress gave birth shortly after she was spotted entering a delivery room in a Taipei hospital on Saturday morning (April 27).

The news was previously confirmed by Nicky’s friend, who said, “Shishi has given birth. An official announcement will be released soon.”

The pregnancy news first surfaced in December, when Nicky’s mum shared that Shishi was then five months pregnant and that “the whole family is very happy”. The baby will be her sixth grandchild, and the fourth boy, reported Apple Daily Taiwan.

She also couldn’t help but add that malicious reports about Shishi having problems conceiving had given the couple “a lot of pressure”, and revealed that the baby was conceived naturally.

According to Nicky’s mum, Shishi had been suffering from morning sickness.
