Captain Oats’ new Instant Rolled Oats is quick to prepare, making it the perfect choice for busy families. It is also versatile, so it’s great for more than just porridge.
For a nutritious meal or snack, you can’t beat oats. Oats are considered a “super food” for many reasons. For one, they are whole grains, which many doctors say we should eat more of. Whole grains contain the entire grain – the bran, germ and endosperm – and are loaded with nutrients such as B vitamins, iron and dietary fibre.
Oats are also a great source of energy. Compared to other carbohydrate foods like rice or bread, they have a low glycaemic index (GI) so they release energy more slowly throughout the day.
Third, oats contain beta-glucan, a form of soluble fibre that helps reduce the bad cholesterol in the blood that can contribute to heart disease.
And finally, oats are packed with dietary fibre, which aids the digestive system by improving gut health and preventing constipation.
Instant Rolled Oats – ready in just three minutes
Sourced from natural and premium Australian oats, the Captain Oats range of oat products is manufactured in Malaysia through their propriety Oati-Fresh Process, which maintains the freshness of the oats.
New to the range is Instant Rolled Oats, which has a similar taste and texture to rolled oats but it is rolled thinner. Compared to regular rolled oats, Instant Rolled Oats has a shorter preparation time, which is great for busy families who want a wholesome breakfast in the mornings, or anyone who needs a healthy snack on-the-go. Simply add a cup of hot water or milk and it will be ready in three minutes.
Like other Captain Oats products, Instant Rolled Oats is high in dietary fibre, contains beta-glucan and has a low GI. It’s available in 12 sachets X 40gm pack and 800gm value pack.
